We have been using Young Living Frankincense Oil on Cassie's knee , and it has gone down in size.

Our Littlest has Lymes

Yes! we solved the mystery of the "knobby knees" that has been an on going problem for 2 years!

Cassie was diagnosed with Lymes and has 3 weeks of antibiotics to take for this.

So we figured that July 2008 we had her in for a rash on the side of her face and a fever;

the DR. gave her antibiotics for 5 days and she was better.Then that fall she started dance class,but she bumped her knee outside on the swingset (so we thought) and thus begun the knobby knee

story...heres the catch she never had both knees at the same time and the knees alternated right& left so when we went in for xrays at least 3-4 times she never had anything but Lymes. Yuk!

Back to School

Yep I dont need to say much more except we are back into the new school year for 2010-2011.

We had a few great last days of summer at Lake Wazee (water is clear and cold ,but the beach white sand -yep right here in Wisconsin) Chloe ,Cierra , Cherish ,Courtney and Christy all water skied this year,we were very proud of our new novices.

We had a few pool days and my favorite; a water balloon fight!We also finished Our basement and 3 of the girls rooms got a "remove old wallpaper/new paint makeover!" We just bought a couple new lamps and presto it is a whole new room.

Not ready for summer to be over

This mom really loves the June, July, & August Summer vacation so when it gets to be that time

I reluctantly drag my feet to ordering supplies and ordering our school room and at this point we are waiting for carpet in our schoolroom/family room to be installed.So I really cant get too much set up.Yippy summer will go on and on...(NOT) Ready or not here it comes.

Family Reunion Minnesota

We are so thankful for the time we spent with our family members yesterday.Our food

favorites are...fried chicken; fresh fruit salad (pineapple, grapes, blueberries ,raspberries,

watermelon)ramen salad;sub sandwiches;beans;chips;pop...cheesecake from cheesecake factory. yumm.

Our parents celebrate 60 yrs in September so we had a mini pre-party for them.

Where would we be without them? We are thankful for family relationships that go

the distance and effort and love is put forth all year long.Even if we dont see each other through

the years we can catch up and LOVE.

I love summer and dont want it to end.Like Gods love I couldnt live without it!

Simple Joys of Freedom

We have much to be thankful for and the freedom in summertime makes us more aware of the joy of having no schedules to follow. Having fun with water from the hose and washing our hair outside,are a few of the joys...melting popcicles, ice cream, making ice tea all day in the sun from a pickle jar.Beach day on Wednesdays has been a highlight of our week.

We take our time everyday to spend time with the Lord and pray for the needs of people around us. A few requests have been the Baldner family who have suffered the loss of their daddy.

Niece/cousin Jill's upcoming heart surgery...People in Haiti who are in crowded hot tents.The BP oil spill.

We had a great time on the river today!

Even though we broke our steering wheel on the boat,

we got it fixed in a jiffy and away we went...

Tubing on the mighty Mississippi

Today we take the new tube for a spin on the boat.

Our dog Marley stayed behind so we can have good

concentration on the riders/skiers/ tubers.
